Ease hangover support is Toniiqs latest alcohol-related supplement. It’s designed to “prevent” hangover symptoms by supporting your body’s natural defenses.

There is nothing worse than waking up after a fun night out drinking with friends, only to realize that you have a throbbing headache, feel sick to your stomach and have another terrible hangover.

Hangover pills are becoming very popular nowadays as people are finding that they help reduce their hangover woes.

Ease hangover support is one of the originals in this market and they claim to be the best.

But does it live up to its claims?

In this article, we’re going to review ease hangover support to see whether it’s worth investing in based on their ingredient list and customer reviews.

Company background

Ease hangover cure is made by Toniiq. In fact, originally they only had one product called Toniiq. Over the years they’ve expanded their range and created several other products outside of the hangover supplement category.

As one of the original products on the market, they’ve amassed a popular following with a solid reputation.

Next up, we’ll look at exactly what its made of to see whether it’s any good.

Ease hangover cure pill ingredients

Ease hangover pill ingredient

Looking at their ingredients label, the first thing we notice is that it only contains 3 ingredients.

Dihydromyricetin (DHM) – 300mg
You’ll find DHM in all of the best hangover pills on the market. This is because of recent research which has shown it to increase the metabolism of alcohol in your liver and therefore reduces hangover symptoms.

The research is very new and still required further evaluation, but the initial results are promising. Hence why it’s probably included in Ease hangover pills.

Milk Thistle – 300mg
Milk thistle is included in pretty much any liver health supplement as its traditionally used to help support normal liver function. The reason is, it’s a well-known antioxidant and shown to help improve liver enzyme markers.(1)

Reishi Mushroom – 1500mg
Used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries, reishi mushroom has many perceived health benefits. Although, none of them have been proved scientifically yet. There’s one thing for certain, it definitely hasn’t got any proven benefits for hangovers.

On their Amazon listing they claim the following:

“While others hide behind a laundry list of watered-down proprietary blends, we make it simple and effective – with our Ease hangover supplement you can party smart with over 2100mg of three highly potent nutrients that result in an incredibly powerful antioxidant combination for your liver.”

In actual fact their dosage for Dihydromyricetin is pretty standard for a hangover pill and so is their milk thistle dose.

Also, they’ve got a huge dose of reishi mushroom extract with no real proven benefit for hangovers.

That being said, we do applaud ease hangover pills for opting not to use a proprietary blend.

What’s missing?

When it comes to choosing a hangover pill that covers all angles, we always like to see at least the following ingredients included:

B-Vitamins – Essential vitamins required to regenerate liver enzymes.
Ginger extract – Used traditionally to settle upset stomachs with proven scientific bases.(2)
N-acetyl-cysteine – The precursor to glutathione which is known to be your body’s most powerful antioxidant.
Piperine – increases the absorption of other ingredients in your supplement so ensures you get the most benefit.

How do you take Ease pills for hangover prevention?

You take 3 capsules before drinking and 3 more straight after your last drink which is what the manufacturers recommend.

This is a pretty standard dosing regimen for hangover pills and it’s important that you follow these instructions. The reason is, if you forget to take these doses and try and take it the morning after the night before, it’s too late.

Unfortunately, by this time the damage is done and nothing but time and rehydration, will help get you back on your feet.

Are there side effects?

The dosing of milk thistle and DHM should be safe and is generally accepted at the amounts included in ease hangover pills.

However, there isn’t much information or data to reassure us whether 1500mg of reishi mushroom is ok.

It’s disappointing to see Toniiq have decided to use artificial flow agents like magnesium stearate in their ease pills.

Flow agents are used during the manufacturing process to allow the pills to be packed easier. You can get supplements with natural flow agents which is what the premium products on the market use.

Ease for hangovers customer reviews

At the time of writing, it has an average rating of 4.1 out of 5 on Amazon with over 600 reviews in total.

Most of the reviews are positive saying that it worked to improve their hangover symptoms.

There are 96 reviews saying it didn’t work at all or made them feel worse.

Does Ease For Hangover Support work?

It’s hard to believe that Ease is better than the other top products on the market right now.

The reason is, products like AfterDrink, Flyby, and Cheers all contain similar doses of DHM and Milk thistle as well as several other good ingredients.

Therefore, currently, we don’t rate ease pills as one of the very best.

Final words

That brings us to the end of our ease hangover pills review.

We like the fact they don’t use a proprietary blend which is rare to see nowadays.

That being said, with only 3 ingredients, it’s hard to say it works as good as the other products. Their ingredients formula is heavily weighted towards reishi mushroom extract, which until now, has unproven benefits.
